Privacy Policy

Effective October 17, 2026

We collect only what we need to run Clarion: your account details, what you've bought, and your practice results. We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Card details are handled by Stripe, not us.

1. Who we are

Clarion by Next-Gen Academy is operated by ARINA LLC through its AI Solutions Division ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use useclarion.com and app.useclarion.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to support@useclarion.com.

Card details: payments are made on Stripe's secure checkout page. Your card number goes directly to Stripe. We receive only a confirmation and basic payment details, never your full card number.

3. How we use information

We use your information only to provide and improve Clarion. That means running your account, processing payments and refunds, sending emails about your account (sign-in help, receipts, and reminders before a pass ends), showing your progress, keeping the Service secure, and meeting legal obligations. We don't send marketing emails without your permission. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

4. Companies that help us run Clarion

We share information with these service providers only as needed for them to do their job for us, and they are required to protect it:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger. If that happens, this policy will continue to apply to your information.

5. Cookies and browser storage

The app stores a small sign-in token in your browser so you stay logged in. We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. If you follow a book link to an outside store such as Amazon, that store may use its own cookies to record that you came from Clarion, so it can credit us for a qualifying purchase; this is covered by the store's own privacy policy, not ours. The website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to deliver them.

6. Children and teens

Clarion is built for high-school students preparing for the SAT and ACT. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. Students aged 13 to 17 should use Clarion with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who can contact us at any time to review or delete the student's information.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account details and study history within 30 days, except for purchase records, which we keep for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 7 years). Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

Email support@useclarion.com from the address on your account, and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

California residents

California law gives you the rights listed above, including to know what personal information we collect and why, and to have it corrected or deleted. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don't use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) throughout, store passwords only in hashed form, and limit access to our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as the law requires if a breach affects it.

10. Where information is processed

Clarion is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a significant way, we'll let you know by email or in the app before the change takes effect. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
